Cosmetic surgery poses a question of intelligence
Reading Simon Usborne’s piece referring to the men he spoke to who had “undergone cosmetic leg-lengthening surgery – a risky, expensive and painful procedure that involves hammering telescopic pins through the leg bones” – right after reading Emily Bell’s piece on artificial intelligence (Opinion, 10 March), I realised that the world is in urgent need of artificial intelligence because humanity’s natural intelligence is fast evaporating.
