Blade runners

A team of young short-track speed skaters practise on the frozen surface of Lake Çildir in the north-eastern Kars province. The freshwater lake freezes over every year and becomes a draw for winter sports enthusiasts as well as tourists, who can take horse-drawn sleigh rides across the ice.
